We are Ben and Moriah, a married team, both born and raised in Alaska. We work in a documentary style, fancy way of saying we stay out of the way and let the day happen instead of staging it. Before the day, we help you think it through, the timeline, the locations, what you actually want, so you have one less thing on your plate. People who think they are bad in front of a camera tend to be surprised by how their photos turn out.

Most vendors add to your plate. We try to take something off it. We help you build a photo timeline around what you actually want, we are a sounding board while you plan, and we point you to what we know when you are stuck. Then on the day, when something goes a little sideways, and something usually does, we are the calm ones handling our part so you do not have to think about it.

And for weddings, there are two of us. Ben shoots the day as it unfolds while Moriah keeps it moving, fixes the small stuff, and keeps everyone relaxed. One of us is always watching the moment while the other is making it work, which means two angles of what matters and a built-in backup if anything goes wrong.
